Hideo Kojima’s Xbox game is the cinematic horrorfest ‘OD’

Hideo Kojima formally unveiled his upcoming sport (that leaked in 2022) on the Game Awards 2023. Beforehand described as one thing “nobody has ever skilled or seen earlier than,” the cinematic OD (beforehand often called Overdose) will embrace a collaboration with horror director and comic Jordan Peele.

OD’s 90-second trailer consists of intimate closeups of actors studying nursery rhymes and different dialogue as they develop more and more frantic. Within the clip’s closing moments, you catch a glimpse of a door opening within the reflection of their eyes (with a creaking sound hammering the purpose house). Wherever the sport’s plot takes us, the trailer makes it clear it falls squarely within the horror style (as anticipated).

We already knew the title could be published by Xbox Game Studios, relying closely on Microsoft’s cloud expertise. Earlier leaks indicated Loss of life Stranding actor Margaret Qualley would play the protagonist, though she was nowhere to be discovered within the trailer. The billed forged within the trailer consists of Sophia Lillis, Hunter Schafer and Udo Kier.
